The emotional weight of Holy Other's With U EP (out June 7th on Tri Angle) is so massively gloppy, such a perfect combination of the most melancholy genres, funneled through the band's deceptively simple kicks and oil-slick bass lines, that hearing it you just feel frail. Words can't describe the sound and bodies can't make it. This is what feels like to drown in Robitussin, or what you'd hear inside the womb if a haunted house and pitched-down R&B made a baby.
