It seemed like a scene from West Side Story when we saw this 1950s-style gentleman walking towards us on Fifth Avenue. On closer inspection, though, he added his own touches to keep it from full-on nostalgia. A half-sleeve of tattoos, a pinch of Buena Vista Social club in the straw hat and some modern touches like beaded jewelry and Clubmaster shades made this look personal.
