On The Real is Back 2, Jeezy, spinning his wheels for so long, sounds finally at ease, even acknowledged. Recently, he looked back on his decade with The Source, saying, "I got a catalog, historic records. I haven’t heard a better street record than Trap or Die. I haven’t. I haven’t heard a better street record than ‘Realest Nigga,’ I haven’t. I haven’t heard a better street record than ‘Airforce 1s.’" Think about it! It's hard to disagree. Here, Jeezy rides in on a hard-revving, fat-slapping champion's track where he imagines retiring to Kentucky. He plays rich-uncle with Birdman on "Trump," thizz-faced goon with Yo Gotti on "Grizzled," then bows out with "The Real N!gga Anthem," a husky piano mid-career retrospective. There are three Freddie Gibbs collabs as well, and few low moments. Jeezy's full length TM103: Hustlerz Ambition, featuring a bevy of beats from rising street king Lil Lody, arrives September 20th. Can't wait.
