James Ferraro, the experimental musician's experimental musician, released his EP Condo Pets today, a prelude to the forthcoming Far Side Virtual, which is billed somewhat as a cultural critique as told through MIDI-synths. We'll have to wait a bit to preview Far Side’s "Smoothies, Foodies, Flat Screens And Virtuality" or "Find Out What's On Carrie Bradshaw's iPod," but we can enjoy Pet Condos’ "Eco-Tot" (a slightly pejorative critique on whole-grain non-GMO-fed commodified youth culture?) or "Text Bubbles’" joyful exchange of tiny plucks and looped chitter chatter, like your phone blowing up in the best way possible.
