"Flood" as in a flood of tears flooding down your face when you hear this song. Kuedo’s first track off his debut LP Severant (out October 17 on Planet Mu) is like the music played at key parts of '80s sci-fi movies, but the "Truth" in the song's title has to be a lie—this is pure digital camp, the kind of emotional melodrama that could only exist on soundtracks, like when robot Rachael is unable to fully express her feelings in Blade Runner but the synths playing in the background let you know she's bubbling. It's a simple and spare song, but crystalline enough to convey its gravity. (via Fact)
