Windows Phone made a temporary duo out of Compton rapper Kendrick Lamar and sleep-rave producer Nosaj Thing for their Me promo series. Of the five beats Nosaj Thing brought to the arranged table, Lamar picked one that sounds like a robot slow-blinking tears out of its eyes. Lamar's verses weigh the seduction of dollar-chasing against the adrenaline rush of a real lover's touch, but like a true Californian, he seems to side with neither, ultimately lauding gas pedal-pushing above all other feelings.
