LA duo
Tashaki Miyaki have released
another beyond-compare
Juan Iglesias-directed video, this time for "Get It Right," the last track on
their debut EP for
The Sounds of Sweet Nothing. Shot who-knows-where but somewhere beautiful and cold, "Get It Right" stars one painfully alone human and a half-dozen wild horses, blanketed in huge swathes of clouds, dust and snow. Maybe unsurprisingly, given their name, the band describes the aesthetic as "East meets West," with the video's enchanting black-and-white texture blending traditions of Japanese minimalism and the American frontier. It's all so pretty I'm afraid saying anything else might diminish it.
