A legion of former FADER cover stars have been nominated for the 2012 Grammys. Kanye West has garnered seven nominations, including Best Rap Album of the Year for My Beautiful Dark Twisted Fantasy. Both Nicki Minaj and Bon Iver are nominated for Best New Artist. Bon Iver's "Holocene" has also been nominated for both Song of the Year and Record of the Year. Wiz Khalifa picked up two nominations for Best Rap Song and Best Performance for "Black and Yellow."
