The pleasant surprise of the day comes via Jack Peñate, who, as Abeano correctly says, released a heavily underrated sophomore album. "No One Lied" is much less bombastic than anything from Everything is New. Recorded in one take in his preferred crisp black and white, it's Peñate and his guitar, British, in a white tee and with some feelings aka pretty great.
