Yesterday, G-Unit's most bizarre character, Tony Yayo released the second mixtape in his El Chapo series, named for 54-year-old fugitive Joaquín "El Chapo" Guzmán Loera, head of Mexico's Sinalo Cartel and the most powerful drug trafficker in the world, according to the US Department of the Treasury. Front-loaded with soul samples, the tape's an easy listen, like riding in the passenger seat on the turnpike while Yayo relays stories about great parties he went to in a loose, near-spoken style. Yayo's supported by an especially mellow Danny Brown on "Razorblade." You hear Brown taking in big breaths, but he never croaks out louder than the knock of the beat, a beefed-up flip of The Stylistics' "People Make the World Go Round."
