Video: Tanlines, “Brothers”

February 17, 2012

As you'll immediately realize, the big thing with this Weird Days-directed video is that it is interactive. While watching Tanlines play in a room, you can also rotate the camera in a complete circle to check out what else is going on. Unfortunately, there's no zoom function, so we can't get super close to Century, pull it off the shelf and read about the last 100 years. Maybe next time? Whatever. We can't actually complain. "Brothers," on its own, without any visuals is a great song, but thanks to this crazy futuristic world of technology, the duo has basically been transported into a modern version of Myst, minus the ability to click on anything and also minus the lighthouse in the fog and the intense creepiness. Watch the video at Pitchfork, or, for the full experience, on your iPhone, and check out tour dates below.
