Weird Days—Brooklyn directors Alex Goldberg, Ben Schechter and Drew Blatman, past collaborators with Das Racist, Tanlines, Real Estate and cute dogs—step into the dancehall kitsch game along with co-director Stephen K. Schuster, setting up Beenie Man in front of a green screen and tossing him into a volcano. "Rock the World" is voiced over Brukkout Productions' 2011 Sewage Breath riddim, and the video co-stars the Swedish dancehall queens Blackout Twins. "How we got involved with Beenie Man is a ridiculous story," Schechter says, "but essentially we met the producer of the track and he hooked it up."
