Rad new shoegaze-for-sunny-days from San Francisco's Permanent Collection, led by Jason Hendardy, formerly of Young Prisms and one-half of the force behind the Twin Peaks-referencing DIY rock label Loglady. Permanent Collection's debut LP, Newly Wed Nearly Dead, was recorded with a full band and produced by Monte Vallier, of Ruminator, and Kramer, whose insane discography includes producing for Galaxie 500 and Low and playing bass for Butthole Surfers and Ween; together they've imparted that genuinely classic late-’80s/early-’90s sound of American indie rock coming of age. The album comes out August 7th on Loglady.
