On "Ballin," a woozy ode to new money that's likely from an upcoming tape called Finally Rich, Chief Keef abandons the taut, punctuated bars of "Bang" and "3Hunna" for melody, sliding his voice across a grease-slicked beat by Chicago's Leekeleek. There's no rapping here at all, just weird singing that's nasally and crumbling, a sound indebted to other populist stars and AutoTune oddballs like Future, Young Thug and Rich Kidz.
