Here's a new track from Struggle, a Slumerican affiliate. As with most things Yelawolf associated, everyone slips into double time mode, which actually can be kinda dicey sometimes. Rapping fast is cool, but not especially exciting 90% of the time we hear it. Yelawolf succeeds, though, because he's not just rattling off a bunch of empty words, he's put some thought into what he's saying and how he's saying it. On "Satellites," Struggle follows suit. It's an aggressive track made more nuanced by the skill of the people involved, which is pretty high considering how early all these dudes are into their respective careers.
