DIIV’s Zachary Cole Smith has got great taste in accessories. An eyeful of them—brassy pendant rings, friendship bracelets and chipping striped nail polish—are on display in the new video for sprawling "How Long Have You Known" while Smith blends a smoothie of hacked avocado, books, clock parts and purple ooze. Grant Singer directed the alchemy experiment, with camera assistance from drummer Colby Hewitt's girlfriend, photographer Sandy Kim. Art Direction is credited to Liza Thorn, a scene-stealing character in Daniel Arnold's FADER #77 Cass McCombs cover feature. DIIV's debut album Oshin is out via Captured Tracks on June 26th. Engineer Daniel James Schlett explains the record's layers of delay and reverb in a great interview, here. DIIV are playing a ton of shows this summer, some with Grimes, Killer Mike and Unknown Mortal Orchestra. See a full schedule of dates below.
