Every week a different FADER staff member will pick a clothing item or accessory that he or she has lately been spending a lot of time with—or would like to—and write a little love letter to it. We would’ve done a column on who we’re dating but that seemed a little bit much. This week Sarah talks about her ONLY logo roll bag.
I shoot for FADER TV. It's a sweet gig because we get to go all around New York interviewing people about their work, but that also means I have to carry a lot of gear (cameras, lights, microphones, lenses, etc.) to just about anywhere in the city that the subway can go. As you can see from the total lack of arm muscle in the photo above, I am not very strong. A good bag is crucial for comfortably toting all this equipment, but most camera bags sacrifice style for function, and I've never wanted to make that compromise. Plus big shoulder bags are super expensive. When I finally got this ONLY bag, my struggles were over: at last, a stylish yet budget-friendly method to carry everything I need. I can fit a whole monopod in this bag. Maybe even two! It's the ideal size, the perfect color scheme, the right price, the camera bag of my dreams—aka, the ONLY bag I'll ever need.
