Last night we partied on the roof of the King & Grove Williamsburg hotel to celebrate the release of FADER #80, our Summer Music issue covered by 2 Chainz and Beach House. Guests sipped Budweiser, Chambord and vitaminwater under open and finally-not-too-hot skies, and enjoyed a performance by DIIV, who were featured in this issue as a GEN F, and a DJ set by Physical Therapy. DIIV's lead singer Zachary Cole Smith wore a bowl cut with lilac tips, a navy blouse and a mid-thigh black skirt—all the band wore womenswear, with varying degrees of sweaty locks hanging over their faces. After, Physical Therapy DJed in a teal Florida Marlins baseball jersey, blending Kevin Lyttle's "Turn Me On" and Ashanti's "Foolish" over a series of dancehall and reggaeton beats.
