Purity Ring's debut album, Shrines, is streaming at NPR. The whole thing has a dancing-on-your-tiptoes grace to it. Make sure to listen to "Crawlersout" and the duet "Grandloves," like Purity Ring's equivalent of Nelly and Kelly Rowland's "Dilemma,” verifying the hip-hop descriptors commonly used when talking about the pair from Montreal. There's also a song called "Shuck," which is just a fantastic word. Shrines is out July 24th via 4AD.
