Amateur Best, the conceptual project of London's Joe Flory, tells the the story of James Best, "sometime London-based DJ, latent alcoholic and lifelong amateur," through music and comics. "Ready for the Good Life," the song for the first issue, features Chilly Gonzales on piano and an aspirational chorus so hopeful its protagonist is doomed to plummet straight down.
