Nosaj Thing’s "Eclipse/Blue" features vocals by Blonde Redhead's Kazu Makino. It's the first single from his upcoming album Home, which feels like an important name. 2009's Drift found him bottling a thick LA sound into blocks of chunky bass and rippling electronics, but "Eclipse/Blue" goes in a completely different direction, worming tape hiss into the folds of pings and Makino's soft, comforting voice. Drift may have been a Los Angeles album in sound, but Home could end up being one in feel. The video, up above, is very much worth your time, blending a gorgeous light show with modern dance.
