Dev Hynes bka Blood Orange has been very busy of late, writing and producing some of the better singles to have come out in recent memory. Here, he takes a break from his workaday duties to post a late-night home recording of his old mate Adam Bainbridge's "Cyan." Says Hynes, "I used drum elements from "Everything Is Embarassing," then I invited my friend Tracy Antonopoulos (From the band Cable) round to come and sing some backing vocals." His Prince-ly treatment makes us antsy for more solo Blood Orange material to come, but in the meantime, we can enjoy the excellent segue from "Cyan" to "Bad Girls" on his Soundcloud stream.
