Update 2/5/2013: TMZ has obtained the LA Sheriff's Department's incident report about Brown and Ocean's fight. According to the report, Ocean was initially uncooperative with cops at the scene, only agreeing to speak to them after taking himself to Cedars Sinai Hospital, where he was treated for cuts on his face and finger. After visiting the hospital, Ocean told the police that he ran into Brown in the lobby of Westlake Recording Studios, where he told Brown he was parked in his parking spot. Brown then tried to shake Ocean's hand, and Ocean refused. Brown punched Ocean in the face, then two of Brown's friends jumped in. Ocean told them he thinks he heard someone yell "faggot," and that Brown boasted his willingness to shoot, saying "We can bust on you too!"
Witness and FADER Mix-alum Michael Uzowuru, who is listed on the report on as "unemployed musician," called the cops to the scene, and talked to them after the fight, which lasted about two minutes. His story is consistent with Ocean's.
Cops wrote that at the hospital, Ocean said he was "desirous of prosecution." But last week, Ocean suggested he wouldn't press charges against Brown, writing on Tumblr:
AS A CHILD I THOUGHT IF SOMEONE JUMPED ME IT WOULD RESULT IN ME MURDERING OR MUTILATING A MAN. BUS AS A MAN I AM NOT A KILLER. I'M AN ARTIST AND A MODERN PERSON. I'LL CHOSE SANITY. NO CRIMINAL CHARGES. NO CIVIL LAWSUIT. FORGIVENESS, ALBEIT DIFFICULT, IS WISDOM. PEACE, ALBEIT TRIE, IS WHAT I WANT IN MY SHORT LIFE. PEACE.
Ocean will perform at this Sunday's Grammys, where he's up for six awards.

Previously: LA cops would like to speak with Chris Brown, after he was involved in an "all-out brawl" with Frank Ocean on Sunday night. According to TMZ, the two bumped into each other at an LA studio, where Ocean allegedly blocked Brown from leaving after Brown chose the wrong parking space. Brown tried to shake hands with Ocean before one of Ocean's friends attacked Brown. Writing on Twitter, Ocean tells a different story: "Got jumped by Chris and a couple guys. Lol. I only wish Everest was there." (Witnesses who talked to the Post side with Ocean, saying Brown threw the first punch.) No arrests were made and Ocean reportedly stayed at the scene to talk to police, who are calling Ocean the fight's "victim." Ocean says he cut his finger during the scuffle, in turn revealing the news that he'll play at next Sunday's Grammys, but with only one good hand:
cut my finger now I can't play w two hands at the grammys.

In 2011, Ocean and Brown traded barbs on Twitter, with Brown comparing Ocean to lesser singers and Ocean replying by likening Brown to Ike Turner, an abusive man with a famous partner. They'll compete at the Grammys too, where they're both up for Best Urban Contemporary Album.
