Husky-voiced London singer Laura Welsh spent Christmas Eve-Eve in a UK studio with Dev Hynes. Like "Losing You" before it, the result of the duo's single-day session, "Unravel," co-written and produced by Hynes, is ostensibly about falling apart but ultimately driven by strength. At the outset, Welsh concedes her own fragility, spilling No matter what you do wrong/ I put your needs before mine, so that she can get on with coolly asking for what she really wants from her waffling partner: Take what you want from me.
