For their third studio album, the Bay Area psych duo of synthesist Gregg Kowalsky and violinist/flautist Marielle Jakobsons expanded their dreamy palette to include an electric bass player, a tampura player and a guitarist. A meditative amalgam of grounding strings and mirage-like shimmers, "Yuba Reprise" closes out an entire side of vinyl inspired by an excursion to the Yuba river, followed by a side b that takes cues from Kowalsky and Jakobsons' experience watching dust devils at the Eureka Dunes.
