At the end of March, Hardo, a 20-year-old Pittsburgh rapper appeared on Mac Miller's MTV show. In the episode, the rappers listen to Lex Luger beats for Hardo's debut, Pistolvania George, soon to be released on Miller's REMember Music boutique label. If Hardo's "Stressin" video, released earlier this year, tells us anything it's that he's a giant step away from the "Kool Aid & Frozen Pizza" aesthetic Miller has gotten rich off. In an interview with the Pittsburgh City Paper, Hardo says that Miller told him when they would record together as students of the famed Taylor Alderdice High, that Hardo "might be the hardest motherfucker that ever came through my crib and recorded some shit.'" We can believe it. Pistolvania George has yet to release but that might have something to do with the fact that Hardo's behind bars right now, his stay originating from a parole violation he incurred when he went to LA to record with Miller. According to his publicist, Hardo's got short time left on his term, but in the mean time you can familiarize yourself with his "Cut Throat" video and the MP3 for "White Day," the single featuring Taylor Gang capo Chevy Woods.
