This track from LX Sweat's upcoming City Of Sweat LP sounds gritty in a way that you wouldn't really expect from a German dude making dance music. In fact, it's much more in line with the lo-fi, cassette-warped spin on techno, house and instrumental hip-hop that's taken the American underground by storm in recent years, albeit with a certain '70s kosmische lyricism in the main synth line. In other words, its distressed luxuriousness makes it just the sort of thing you'd expect to hear from the Not Not Fun/100% Silk Crew, so it's no surprise that you can expect it to drop on the former label on July 9th.
