If you've been breathlessly awaiting an LP from Archy Marshall, bka King Krule, bka the teenager with a voice so lived-in and wise that he sounds like he's been around the world a hundred times, then you're definitely not alone. On August 24th—a Saturday, and not coincidentally Marshall's 19th birthday—True Panther/XL will release 6 Feet Beneath The Moon, the debut King Krule full length. We've heard a few of the songs before, most notably the excellent "Out Getting Ribs" and "Has This Hit," but most of this is completely new, and, if we had to guess, will be full of detailed, idiosyncratic observations about life and death as well as plenty of the semi-drunken bar stool wisdom that Marshall has nailed so well. Stream new single "Easy Easy," which premiered just today on Zane Lowe's BBC Radio 1 show.
