Boss Up is the fourth or so solo tape from Chicago rapper and singer Tink, showcasing her wide range like it's dispatches from three artists at once: supreme gruffness on "Bars" and "Bring Dem Bands Out," melodic raps like "Take Me There" and straight-up R&B songs like "Gotta Keep Goin." Like getting punched in the head and kissed on the bruise.
