Photos: FADER #88 Microsoft Release Party with NGUZUNGUZU and Kingdom in LA

One of the best parts of pushing a magazine out into the world is celebrating its release with friends and collaborators (and Budweiser). For the next 12 months, we'll be doing just that not once but twice for each issue, with release parties in both New York and LA. Last night, we inaugurated our series of West Coast parties at the Microsoft Experience in Venice. In the spirit of our Trent Reznor Icon Issue—around for browsing in print and on Surface tablets—Fade to Mind's NGUZUNGUZU and Kingdom played Nine Inch Nails-inspired sets, while the Pork Belly food truck parked outside served up March of the Pigs pork sandwiches.
