The official Hunger Games: Catching Fire soundtrack is now streaming on iTunes, and joining a bunch of big names like Ellie Goulding, Mikky Ekko, Santigold, Lorde and Patti Smith on the tracklisting is The Weeknd's-- twice. In addition to his feature on "Elastic Heart," a collaboration between Sia and Diplo, he contributed a solo-effort called "Devil May Cry," produced by Rick Rubin.
"I wanted to go for an uplifting and conquering yet melancholy mood," he explained during a twitter Q&A. "Rick Rubin helped me bring it to life." And to be certain, even Abel Tesfaye's epic "end of the night" sorrow pales in comparison to Katniss Everdeen's; but he nails the mood nonetheless.
The movie hits theaters on November 22nd.
