Ricky Spicer is suing Kanye West, claiming that the rapper sampled vocals he recorded when he was twelve-years-old and "the Michael Jackson" of the Ponderosa Twins Plus One, "Cleveland's answer to the Jackson 5." NYDN reports that Spicer, now 56-years-old, heard "Bound 2" for the first time while listening to the radio. Recognizing the hit song's "fallin' in love" refrain as his own, borrowed without permission, he figured he might be owed some uh-huh money. Yesterday he filed a suit with Manhattan Supreme Court demanding that West -- and Roc-A-Fella Records, Island Def Jam, Rhino Entertainment and Universal Music Group -- pay up or cease and desist in use of his vocals. This is certainly not the first time Kanye has been sued over a sample.
