Fresh off tour with Disclosure, Vic Mensa pays his dues to his tourmates with a nimble freestyle dropped over one of house heroes bigger Settle hits, "When A Fire Starts To Burn." He opens with a Dave Chappelle skit, has some fun with Azealia Banks' "212" flow and hints at work he's done with producer-to-watch Kaytranada. For their part, the Lawrence boys seem to be increasingly interested in making something of their well-known love of hip hop, inviting Mary J. Blige to join them onstage and in then into the studio for "F For You" and teaming up with New York upstart Bishop Nehru for "You Stressin." And Mensa sounds good on them, maybe something more will come of this.
