Looks like, after years of success in his native Jamaica, Vybz Kartel protege and GEN F alum Popcaan is beginning to pick up speed stateside as well. He first broke into the US charts with his syrupy "Only Man She Want." He's since joined Pusha T for the highly underrated "Blockas," which Kanye later sampled for "Guilt Trip," and he teamed up with Drake's OVO crew for his "Unruly Rave" video. Now, he's at work on a proper debut album which slated for release sometime this summer through Dre Skull's Mixpak label. Here's a video for an early single called "Everything Nice," a bitter-sweet slow burner produced by Dubbel Dutch. Not exactly a turn up nor a wind down, it's a somewhat sullen reminder that life's good till it's not so go ahead and put your cups dem high while you can.
