Beyoncé collaborator and onetime mystery man Boots just premiered his debut mixtape, WinterSpringSummerFall, over at Buzzfeed, and it deserves a few moments of your attention, if only for its bonkers array of sounds and styles. The first track features a Daydream Nation reference and then talks about someone getting hit by a subway in Williamsburg, after that there's a yearning answering-machine message from a British voice that reminds me of Felicity Jones in Like Crazy, and that's all before any of the guests show up (Shlohmo & Jeremih, Kelela, Beyoncé herself).
