Atlanta's teenaged Raury returned today with "Cigarette Song," co-produced by Daytrip and maintaining the folk/soul hybrid sound he's toyed with on breakout track "God's Whisper" and FADER favorite "Sunshine." He sent us over a few cuts this past spring, and this one caught our ear--a simple tune with a driving pulse and lightweight lyrics expected from a young songwriter. Light it up girl, have a ball, it's gonna kill you, Raury sings, spelling out a loosie metaphor for how he fucked her every Wednesday evening. Look out for Raury opening for Outkast at their September 27th ATL homecoming show.
