New York producer/instrumentalist BENAMIN dropped Beats and Thangs at the end of last year, a knocking little jazz experiment that Naomi Zeichner likened to Aquemini funk. "Watch Out" picks up from where "The Weasel" left off: drunk drums and punchy bass with vocals strained through the fray. This time around, female vocalist 10ille lends some harmonies, and the whole thing feels like a walk through Greenwich Village in 1985. "Allow this Weasel into your life and he'll take all the credit," BENAMIN warns. "Don't let his dapper and smooth nature fool you. He wants it all." He's been popping up on stickers and t-shirts around the city, so stay woke.
