It's a sad sort of irony that as fashion week begins, we lose the industry's most beloved critic. Joan Rivers, dubbed a "comedic stiletto" in her New York Times obituary, gave us perspective on all the folly of fashion and did so with intelligence, biting humor and—sometimes if you were lucky—a little affection.
