The Wikileaks founder spoke to a large group of people at NYC's Babycastles, calling what Google goes “digital colonialism,” arguing that it serves a very similar function to the NSA. M.I.A. said hello very briefly, and said her song "The Message" was inspired by Burning Man and a bad acid trip. Assange also critiqued Google's revolving door policies, whereby the government has access to all of the data Google has gathered (which is insane amounts.) Whatever! I’m going to throw on my Google glasses, check my Google watch, get in my Google car and drive to my Google town. (Google towns are actually coming.)
