J. Cole sure tries his hardest on this new remix of Jessie Ware's oh-so euphoric, Miguel-assisted “Kind Of... Sometimes... Maybe" remix, which was premiered this evening by Zane Lowe on BBC Radio 1. The Fayetteville rapper opens his bouncy, sexed-up verse with a child's tongue twister—If Peter Piper picked a peck of pickled peppers/ Baby, I don't mean to disrespect you—that is quickly forayed into a blunt offer for cunnilingus (Wanna twist my tongue... you get it). While he whispers sweet nothings, Cole can't quite steam-up the song like Miguel does, but who could?
