Don't be fooled by their recent appearance on record together for Nicki Minaj's "Only:" there's still no love lost between Drake and Chris Brown. The latest round of drama started Friday night, when Brown—clearly in the festive spirit—announced at Power 106's Cali Christmas Concert that he had broken up with his on-off girlfriend Karrueche Tran, adding "fuck that bitch." The following day, Brown flew off the handle on his Instagram (in a since-deleted post), writing to Karrueche: "I was locked up for damn near 4 months and only got 1 visit from you while u was hosting parties and taking secret trips to Toronto, going on dates with Drake!"
Drake being the infinitely meme-able figure he is, this snippet of information has sent the internet up in flames, with Twitter users searching for double meanings in his "Thotful" lyrics, speculating what it might be like to go on secret dates with such a gentleman, and labelling him "the real Mr Steal Yo Girl." Meanwhile, Karrueche—who accuses Brown of "repeatedly mistreating" her throughout their relationship—is staying chill.
