Stephen Colbert scored a mighty scoop for one of his final dispatches on The Daily Show. Last night, he welcomed Kendrick Lamar as his final music guest—and, of course, Kendrick delivered. After a quick nod from Colbert to great Daily Show performances past—"Paul McCartney, R.E.M., Jack White, and Nas were your opening acts!"—the TDE rapper took to the stage to debut a powerful and as yet untitled new song. He was backed by Bilal, Thundercat, Anna Wise, and Terrace Martin; and according to MissInfo, the jazz-flecked, minimalist production is by Paris's Astronote. Watch and listen to the new track below.
