It’s no surprise that Thom Yorke tops the list, but the rest of them might surprise you.
In the past year, file-sharing platform BitTorrent has expanded their legal reach within the music community with BitTorrent Bundle, a new direct-to-fan publishing platform for musicians. In September, Thom Yorke used the file sharing service to release his second solo album, whcih was downloaded a staggering 1.1 million times in the first week at $6 a pop. It was the first bundle ever to be paywalled and the most downloaded music bundle of 2014, according to BitTorrent's newly released year-end report.
