For all its peaks, 2014 was also the year in which YG got screwed out of a Best Rap Album Grammy nod for My Krazy Life. Of course, the Grammys don't often get these things right, but regardless, a group of loyal young fans gathered outside the Grammy Museum in downtown Los Angeles yesterday to protest the academy's oversight on his behalf. They carried signs that read "HONK FOR YG" and "FREE GUCCI" (sure!) and chanted "YG WHY NOT?" before being escorted off the museum premise.
For his part, the Bompton rapper was flattered:
Damn. This Brazy, my fans protesting about a nigga not bein Grammy nominated. I ain't tell Em do this doe 💯💯💯💯 pic.twitter.com/a6GVTtOXWq

Yesterday's "bicket" was the handy work of Trill Ship, an adorable TrillHD/LiveMixtapes web series that sends kids to interview rappers; they'll be posting a full video of the protest tomorrow. Till then, check out pictures of the too-cute protest below.
