Future Premieres “Mad Luv” Video
“I wanted to go back to my roots before I started this journey of creating album music. So I came back to Atlanta, Lil Mexico (Kirkwood) to be specific, to shoot ‘Mad Luv.’”
Here's a new Future video, for "Mad Luv." Taken from October's Monster tape, the song's a throwback to the Streetz Callin era, co-produced by Metro Boomin and DJ Plugg. Directed by Rick Nyce, the video features cameos by Rae Sremmurd, Mike WiLL Made It, and the Centennial Olympic Park statue, which is now almost 20 years old. Future dons not one but two 'I Can't Breathe' sweatshirts, in red and black.
"I wanted to go back to my roots before I start this journey of creating album music. So I came back to Atlanta, Lil Mexico—Kirkwood—to be specific, to shoot 'Mad Luv'," Future explained. (For more on why Kirkwood is called Lil Mexico, watch Future's first-ever FADER interview, from 2011.)
"Mad Luv" will make its network television debut on REVOLT's The Gate at 10PM EST tonight, Monday January 5.
