Lana Del Rey’s Next Album Is Called Honeymoon
May include a cover of “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood.”
Seems like FADER cover star Lana Del Rey's Ultraviolence is still seeping and creeping its way into our collective heads, but LDR's already hard at work on her next LP: in an interview with Billboard, she reveals that she has nine songs written for her next album, which will be titled the very Lana-esque Honeymoon.
"The production is perfect; I'm looking for a few more songs to tie everything together," she tells the publication, while also letting slip that a cover of the standard "Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood," which was first recorded by Nina Simone. "It's growing into something I really like," Lana said on the new album's direction. "I'm kind of enjoying sinking into this more noirish feel for this one. It's been good." We already can't wait.
