Chance The Rapper Is Hosting An Open Mic For High Schoolers In Chicago
Chance will be looking for young new artists at “Open Mike” on Monday February 9.
As seen in his FADER cover story with The Social Experiment, Chance The Rapper puts community first; and this coming week, he's proving it once again by hosting an open mic night for local high schoolers in Chicago. The first "Open Mike" will take place at Cassidy Theater on Monday February 9, and anyone is welcome to come along and sign up at 4.45pm if they can A) present an Illinois high school I.D. and B) perform. Chance has made clear on Twitter that he's "looking for young artists" at the event, which is obviously pretty exciting, so check the full details and get tagging your friends below.
I need highschool rappers, poets, singers, dancers and comedians to come through my new #OpenMike in Chicago Monday at 5.
