Dean Blunt Skips The NME Awards, Throws Shade At Idris Elba
“Thanks to the man upstairs, thanks NME. I finally made it!” -Not Dean Blunt

At last night's NME Awards in London, Dean Blunt was awarded the Philip Hall Radar Award, but he wasn't on site to accept it. Instead, an unnamed stand-in in a military jacket accepted the award in his place, commenting, "Thanks to the man upstairs, thanks NME. I finally made it!" We're not sure if Blunt wrote that speech for him, but he clearly enjoys taking the piss out of critics: Idris Elba threw some shots in a review of his record for Noisey, and Blunt opened his latest video "100" with a full transcript of his comments.
