Hear the colorful new tune from the Go! Team’s first LP in four years.
Ultra-colorful pop-pastiche project The Go! Team's set to release their latest album, The Scene Between, on March 23 in the UK and the next day in the U.S. via Memphis Industries. The project's main guy Ian Parton wrote, produced, and performed every song on the LP, including this characteristically ebullient new one "What'd You Say?". "'What D'You Say?' is an aching little California drone pop song about someone who wants to start over," Parton told The FADER in an email about the track, which features L.A.-based Brazilian vocalist Samira Winter. "'All the summers I never had, well I'm making up for it. All the chances I never grab but I'm making up for it now...' It's all lens flare crash zooms, abandoned theme parks and spinning into waves."
