Patrick Watson's "Places You Will Go" begins with the Canadian singer/songwriter singing atop a passionate acoustic strum that slowly fades into view; as the song builds, though, it expands into more ecstatic territory, with tumbling drums and overlapping guitar to create an aural effect that is as nearly hallucinatory as it is pleasing to the ears. The track's from Watson's new album, Love Songs For Robots, which is out May 12 via Domino.
